Limited, one-time only spaces for 1-to-1 coaching with Adrian Drew.

Tired of trying and failing to build your career as a writer? Fed up of publications rejecting your work without an explanation? Eager to start making money from your passion?

Many people are. Few know where to start.

I’m Adrian, the owner of Mind Cafe — a publication with over two million monthly readers, 135K followers, and a globally-stocked print magazine.

What began as a passion project aimed at teaching people worldwide how to live happier lives has now developed into a globally-distributed publication, packed full of beautiful images and breathtaking articles from the world’s best.

What you didn’t know, perhaps, was why I started Mind Cafe in the first place.

In 2018, my fiancé was diagnosed with brain cancer out of nowhere. After eighteen of the most difficult months of my life, she passed away peacefully in the summer of 2019.

Deep in the throes of grief…

I’ve been there too. Years were spent writing for less than a penny per word, making next-to-nothing whilst writing for upwards of…

Lessons learned from being an older sibling and the CEO of an eight-person startup.

Until recent years, I’ve never considered myself to be a natural leader.

It wasn’t until a friend of my mum’s pointed it out to me that I realized. After I mediated a petty argument between her and my younger brother, the friend turned to me and said, ‘I’ve never seen anybody lead like that before.’

‘Like what?’ I asked.

“You don’t force people to follow you. You’re not aggressive about it. You just behave in such a way that they feel compelled to follow you. You really make an effort to understand people, and that makes them want to trust…

The scale of my fears has changed dramatically over time. When I was younger, I’d fear things like monsters in television shows and the darkness in my bedroom. Then came my social anxiety. It sounds strange saying ‘my’ social anxiety because today, socializing isn’t something that scares me at all. …

When my wife and I moved to South Korea to teach English, we didn’t have a lot of money. I was busy creating my writing business, and I needed good rewards to keep me motivated. But I didn’t have a lot of money to work with. …
